I’ve been a freelance artist and illustrator over the last decade, doing mostly private commissions and design work. The last two years I’ve focused more on my painting as well as my animation career. My love for animation and illustration comes from a storytelling aspect. I love the ability to tell stories with images, whether with many images like animation or even a singular image like illustration. Through my paintings of pet portraits over the past 6 months, I’ve helped share stories of family, love, connection, and even loss. I’ve also begun teaching others the joy of painting and nurturing their creative spirit. I hope to continue to navigate art through connection in our community and finding joy in the moments around us. I believe stories are different for everyone, but there is always threads of connection woven through (like love for our pets) and I want to show that!
