Michael Bowler (he/him) is an independent, self-taught illustrator based in San Diego, California. His art explores themes of gender, sexual and romantic orientation, horror, trauma, and healing. He mostly uses ink and gouache (both digital and traditional) but enjoys experimenting with other media as well. When not drawing, he can often be found drinking black tea, petting cats, and reading books about vampires.
