Frida Ibarra is a multimedia musician, composer, and DJ based in Southern California. With a decade of experience, she seamlessly blends composition, electronic production, and DJing into a multifaceted creative career. Frida has performed at major events such as Fresh Meat Festival, Folsom Street Fair, and club nights across San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles. As a composer, she creates original music for filmmakers, content creators, and performance artists, with her work featured in Frameline, the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival, and KQED’s If Cities Could Dance. Holding a Master’s in Music Industry Administration, Frida specializes in DEI and access initiatives for nonprofits and music industry companies, advocating for more equitable creative spaces. She also has experience in artist relations, having worked with local San Diego bands and artists for San Diego Pride’s 2024 festival. As a DJ, she curates sets that blend 90s nostalgia with cutting-edge electronic sounds, always pushing for innovation and inclusivity in music.
