I grew up in a border town of Southern California. As a young, introverted child I was drawn to the serenity of nature and found solace in expressing myself through drawing and painting. I was driven by my curiosity of the sometimes vast sometimes tiny, seemingly invisible worlds existing all around me in the physical realm as well as the endless invisible worlds that existed within my imagination. My instincts to explore and imagine always stayed with me. As a young adult I lived a somewhat nomadic lifestyle, exploring many different cities and towns throughout the states. I spent all the time I could creating art and meeting diverse groups of people and fellow artists, forming bonds and memories that I hold so dearly. The drive I have to learn and to create has rewarded me with fulfillment and given me a sense of purpose in this life.
