Gracie Juarez is a locally born and raised photographer, with a multidisciplinary background, that focuses on portraiture, landscape, abstract, and street photography. She is a queer woman with indigenous roots who strongly believes in the importance of community and sees the value in diversity and speaking up on behalf of the disenfranchised. Her art is an exploration of the “self and the other“ as it pertains to something as intimate as our surroundings or as vast as the world: The complexities of the human condition and the interconnectedness of all life/energy in this universe.
