Irma Patricia Cruz is a co-owner, activist, and spiritual healer at Aztlan Libre Galeria Mestizaje—a multipurpose space she runs with her husband Lucas Cruz. Patricia has been a key figure in both the local and broader artistic community. Aztlan Libre also serves as an archive center (Aztlan Archives) for documenting Chicano history in San Diego and throughout Aztlan, preserving the cultural legacy of our communities. Irma Patricia has curated art shows, workshops, public art, and youth programs, and as a Chicana artist and certified End of life doula, she brings a unique perspective and depth of experience.
